Clouds of purple haze
Bowers of wisteria
Over Union Square
Clouds of purple haze
Bowers of wisteria
Over Union Square
Spring cleansing– old keys
What doors swung open for me?
All, all forgotten
Saber slash of moon
In a sky gently glazing
Blueing in the dawn
Kids at school crosswalk
Cherry blossoms bend and sigh
At their transience
Woodpeckers pecking
Wife chopping meat for the cats
Sonorous morning
My house cats practice
Their Avian language skills
With bemused robins
Man at the roadside
Holding up a cardboard sign
Bearing his haiku
A thin crescent moon
Like an end parentheses
Chalked on a blackboard
