what does the word “failed” have to do with your poetry? or is that an inside joku of you haiku poets!
great thanks to Mike Rehling.
Rehling is my shotenzenjin about haiku/senryu. He basically enlightened me that the traditional japanese 5-7-5 pattern gets cluttered when the language is English. “Failed Haiku” means it was intended to be a classically defined haiku but was too many or to less in syllables and perhaps lacking in referencing nature. But it was published anyway.
