    what does the word “failed” have to do with your poetry? or is that an inside joku of you haiku poets!

  2. Rehling is my shotenzenjin about haiku/senryu. He basically enlightened me that the traditional japanese 5-7-5 pattern gets cluttered when the language is English. “Failed Haiku” means it was intended to be a classically defined haiku but was too many or to less in syllables and perhaps lacking in referencing nature. But it was published anyway.
