You’re too funny–I had such a visual of massaging a turkey or meatloaf, to make the recipe “mine”…
That is exactly the same process… Take a recipe and keep improving on it till it won’t be recognized by its mother
You missed the picture of me physically, hands on, massaging meat. I’ve been tweaking recipes for decades.
